I’m pushing for the living tree we can plant outside each year. Alas, I was outnumbered 4:1. I’ll use a few more flourescent lights and call it even.

We never used a real tree. It has always been an artificial one. Even if where we live is knwon for its pine trees.

Yes, you noticed the castles. The most amazing thing is that the castles are nestled in rolling hills, and they just kind of peek up. And the fog rolls in off the river â€“ and I swear you think youâ€™re in bloody England in the moors romping with Thomas Hardy.

We did both — a slender artificial one for upstairs, a real one for downstairs, where my mother can see it. Eventually, probably just artificial.

Funny, they never talk about the family farms putting kids through school and offering hot cocoa when they talk about global warming, do they?

Last year, we were so excited to have a real tree! in our new house! I’m STILL finding needles. It dried out way to fast and was poking us all as we gathered around it on Christmas morning.

This year, we have an artificial tree. And I love it, dearly.

Way to go on the videos! I hope you’ll share some of those moments with us via YouTube!
