By the time I get home, they are fighting for my attention while I am trying to get dinner on the table, some laundry done, and picking up the disastrous house from their day of activity. Another thing I miss is not being able to spend nearly as much time as I would like at school WITH them, in the classroom, helping out, at least so other moms even know who I am. (I'm sure so many wonder where my child's absentee parent is...*sigh*) Oh, and about spotting a fake smile...here's my take on that. Yes, folks do "fake" concern at times..and why do they do it?
