I go in weird cycles - I'll push myself until I'm so overtired I HAVE to get rest. Then, when I finally do take a break, I'm behind and have to work even harder to make up for it...soon I'm overtired again. I don't know. I think I need a vacation. Or an assistant. I also relish those moments when you're forced to be still. I had to make a two hour drive to pick up my husband a few nights ago and it was wonderful. I didn't have to do anything but drive. I listened to music - MY music - and sang and thought and drank cappuccino. I had been irritated to "waste" so much time, but it turned out to be a lovely respite that I think I needed.
