Excuse me while my heart skips a beat

I was cruising through my Photoshop Photo Album to show you my world over at Midwest Parents, and I came across this:

And this:

And then, my heart stopped, and because now, he looks like this:

And he reads, and in five months he will go to school all…day… long. So, you just go ahead, over to Midwest Parents,. I’ll stay here, while I get hold of my wits, and figure out how to catch breaths… once and for all.

And, he’s not even my baby.

I’m heading out of town for a few days, all, if any, posts that appear, are the result of auto-scheduling, or my ability to reach real Wi-Fi.

While at the lake, WiFi is seriously lacking in my life... I can't wait to read your comments.
  1. wow- awesome shots. I like the MWM site- cool…Where are those park shots taken? They are amazing!

  2. I really think it should be mandatory uniform that all little kids wear stripey overalls, especially when they’re cleaning the beaters. Wonderful pictures - the one of the lake is gorgeous!

  4. They grow up overnight I think.

  5. Aww.

Mine’s going to kindergarten next fall too. I can’t believe it.

  6. Watching our new one is bringing back all those stages with dudelet. I volunteered to help out on a school trip at his nursery today and watching him go about his routine there - this whole other independent life which is nothing to do with us - made me quite tearful. He used to be such a tiny little baby, striking the very same pose in a pram as yours is striking in his bouncy seat. And now…

  7. Gosh he is so freakin’ cute. Heartbreaker!

They. Grow. Up. Too. Fast. It kills me.

  8. Time certainly flies these days, doesn’t it?

I love the second photo especially. They’re so adorable at that age :)

  9. VERY very cute. And when you think about how fast time flew, you will really hear your heartbreak.
