As children require you to be fully present, I'm finding it difficult to visit everyone everyday, as I have noses to kiss, backs to rub, lots of messes to clean, and stories that demand an attentive, caring ear.     My son would have immediately hit it with a stick, while my daughter would have climbed on top and shouted “Statue of Liberty!” with her hand in the air. Oh, the obsessions!

    Eek! What a jump! I broke my foot trying a way less daring jump than that — but then, I’m a super klutz.
