I just want to say Thank You

To all the teachers, helpers, volunteers and dedicated staff who tirelessly worked to make the Annual Barn Dance the highlight of my little boy’s week The crafts were cute, the food was on target, the horses — how can I describe the elation when they saw the horses?! The cowboy had a real horse to ride — and no blue water! (But of course he had to be dressed as Superman, and not the Woody Cowboy he had planned to wear all week.) The songs, full of memories — but more than anything — thank you for the love that pours out of your hearts and makes its way into the lives of my boys. There is no other place where I can find people who know so much about my children, and who are genuinely interested in them. It was so hard for them to get to sleep tonight — so full of excitement — but finally, they’re tucked away in their beds now, sleeping soundly.

Note to you all: if you have e-mailed me or come here to leave a comment, please forgive me - I am completely overwhelmed now that school has started, and I have begun writing for dollars. I read everything, but sometimes have no time to respond, or visit you via my reader. Please know that I so appreciate your presence.
