Our Grizzly
“My bear lost a tooth.”
“How? Did he get into a fight?”
“That’s exactly what my teacher said.”

I don’t think I showed you the bear we were working on over Winter Break. He was huge. Chicken wire frame, Papier Mache, fur and a glue gun. Claws were made by building papier mache (best recipes here) around copper wire. Copper wire was used to stick the claws into the body. And our reference book was The Essential Grizzly: The Mingled Fates of Men and Bears
. All for the 5th grade National Geography Symposium. And thanks to conversation efforts, the Grizzly enjoys many protections. Check out Yellow Stone Park
