It’s a great feeling to go to sleep at night and realize you aren’t alone in the world after all. Millions of people felt the same way; and it wasn’t as close as we feared it might be. I’m so proud of America right now for opening it’s heart.
My mental scrapbook is already emblazoning the day with a golden crispness with the words we heard him speak on the lawn that day. My boys continue the chant they learned from him, “Yes we can.”
I was tired when I crawled out of bed early this morning, but still so glad I stayed up to watch.
