I came over here for the thursday thirteen meme, but saw this! I love belly dancing. I just started, but I love it. One of my best friends started taking belly dancing about a year ago and has lost a lot of weight and looks 10 years younger. She inspired me to start.

I tried this a few years ago with a couple of friends – it was fun, but I just didn’t feel coordinated enough. It is a fun thing to be able to do, I still remember some of the moves and I can do them while doing dishes…lol!

If you get the wife lessons buy her a nice belly dancing skirt with some coins, it’s fun to hear it make noise.

Great post Susie! I’ve heard about the amazing benefits about BD from a good friend, and while I’ve been interested in taking classes for years, I just never seemed to have the extra cash (which I did because I was SINGLE back then!). Link sent to my man….here’s hoping! Thanks!
