This is a great idea!

Each night, Julia and I do a best thing/worst thing about the day when we go to sleep. I hadn't thought about writing it down.

Sooooooo true, we have so many things to be thankful for, I mean all you have to do is turn on the news to see all the not so great things happening around the world - like this week the earthquake in Italy. I say if often to people I'm with "I might be having a bad day, but I'm sure someone out there is having a worse day" I often get perplexed looks from that comment cause I'm sure many of them think "this day couldn't get any worse" which is totally not the truth, it always can, so best to look on the bright side & see that silver lining!

What a great idea! My partner and I do this together every night and it's great insight into each other's world. There are a few entries from when my son was younger and he added his "gratefuls" to ours. Precious. It's nice to know that even if there are days that the only thing you're grateful for is air, food, and a roof over your head that you've still got ALOT to be grateful for!
