Dave's number - in all of his sports - was always 33. It's my favorite number! He still plays softball. Julia and I have our 33 jerseys that we wear to every game. Let all the flags fly! I've got a daughter, so I can't imagine the feeling in the pit of your stomach when it is your son out there at the bottom of the heap. However, I know the smile of success, which my nephews so often wear at the end of the ball game. That seems to replace the feeling in the pit of the stomach.
