I’m so glad you have this story written on your blog. Think how exciting it will be to show this to his family somewhere down the road. Not only caring, sensitive, brave, strong, & big-hearted …quick thinking! I’d want him with ME if I had an emergency. I know how proud you must be of that child. I’m proud just to hear about him.

What a great big brother and son you have there! How sweet to see that he cared so much.
And I’m glad that your 3 year old is okay.
I see that in my oldest though … she may fight with the younger ones, but when they are hurt, it isn’t uncommon for her to get there first to comfort and help them. It is a beautiful thing to see.

Did you utter a prayer in that time? Did one shoot through your head?
Don’t you just find such comfort in the fact that our children have guardian angels looking out for them, and sometimes, at the Lord’s command, reach into the natural and help us out? Well, I do, and it helps me to let them go just a little bit more than I’d like for them to.
