The kids love to snack on sunflower seeds, and because seeds are cheap, I decided to plant, for the first time in my life, sunflowers. I was a bit unprepared for their showy, spectacular opening.
Every morning for about a week, the boys would tug
at my arm, and yell,
“Grab your camera! Look at the sunflowers today!”
