We all have our vices

There were some nice things about going without power for four days.  The kids went to bed when it was dark; woke up by the sunrise.  Reading by candlelight is nice, once you get the hang of it. And the house was entirely quiet. No humming of anything.

We all have our vices; and there was this one thing that I could not do without: I have a substantial collection of Shiva Rae, and Baron Baptise stored on my Juke cell phone as mp3 files. Sure, I know I should have kept the phone free for emergency phone calls; and save what little battery power I had left. Our last connection with the outside world…

But, I couldn’t help myself. That one hour of yoga is the one thing I cannot do without.  No exceptions.  A must for any Mom.

Besides, we could alway use Dad’s phone.
